Best Upgrade Ive done so far. Easy to install and even easier to dial in. One finger operation and you stop on a dime. Very smooth, no squeaking. DEFINITELY Spend the money it totally worth it and then some
John over at E-Motion Sports installed the brakes and the Fenders and they perform and look great. Highly recommended.

I bought these in hopes that they would fit but the rear ones didn’t. I upgraded tires to a bit nobbier ones and it didn’t fit on those and the video on youtube didn’t help at all. If anybody on here could give me advice to get those on id be gratefully appreciated
Easy to install, with the somewhat custom specs on many ebikes, it was nice to get something that I knew would have the spacers, etc to fit just right
Brakes are good. I like stopping and not running into things. Yay.

They are a must for wheelies and help you stop fast but I wish the break levers were shorter cuz when you crash they hook onto the ground and break
My 13 year old son was able to watch the video and replace them himself. He’s very happy with them.
Nice upgrade. Went from 2 piston mechanical brakes to 4 piston hydraulic. 4 piston and larger brake pads mean better stopping power and better heat dissipation. No instructions at all. There is a video online, but the bike they are using is an older model so some things were different. There were some extra parts I the box (probably a universal kit for all their bikes) so that was a bit confusing. There is a part to attach to the fork for the front brakes and you have to put it in the right way. Some photo instructions or an actual explanation on the video of this would have been nice. I eventually figured it out...but the whole process could have been much easier with better instructions. The brakes work great though. It's a real shame these are not stock or at least an upgrade option on the X1S. I feel like I wasted time and money and parts swapping out the stock brakes with these as soon as the parts came.
Much better brakes
This was a critical upgrade for my daughter's MacFox bike as the original brakes were regularly failing after about a year in service. We worked and worked on them, and finally gave in to purchase these. Couple things preventing a 5 star review. First, the installation video needs work -- we watched it, paused it, rewound it, played it about 60 times as we attempted to install. A few more instruction lines or a pause with a quick description of key steps would have helped a ton. Second, these are the brakes that should have come with the bike. It's a safety issue -- if you're selling the product, you should sell it with good brakes.

My kid loves the brakes his friends bought some cheaper version that bolt on there and both of his friends brakes broke the caliper these have lasted and work awesome
Worked great after some minor adjustments to the rear caliper mount. The disc does not have enough space to clear the caliper mount and I had to grind it down with a dremel and then re install. Once that was done the rear brakes work well. The front brakes installed without any adjustments or problems.
The new brakes are a world of difference
Got the brakes because the old ones were getting run down. These brake have been extremely reliable and strong. They are really touchy which allows you to stop fast and safe. Great product would definitely recommend!

Install was a little more complicated but the hydraulic brakes are way better
My son’s X1 required us to use the provided secondary adapter for the front caliper. It now works great. We lost track of time for the rear, so that’s our next adventure. Great upgrade kit! Set of directions would be great or a QR code.

There were no instructions on the video that described how to connect the rear break to the break lever so the first attempt damaged the small ring that was designed to seal or prevent the break line from leaking.
I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the customer support representatives that helped me with my sons bike issues. Very responsive and quick to assist with the replacement of parts.

The product itself is great, huge upgrade to the cable, I only wish there was an instruction included in the package. There was no paper in the package, only parts. It took us a while to figure out everything by trial and error and searching online and watching some videos. It took us much longer to make the switch and we could’ve damaged some parts. The end result is great, everything fits perfectly to X1S model. I think the company should offer this as an upgrade and save buyers the headache of going through upgrading by themselves. Honestly the stock brakes are no good.
So easy to install. My kid and his buddy replaced the breaks in a couple of hours. It was their first fix it job. He loves the new breaks, said it was a big improvement for the original ones.
These brakes were a solid upgrade from the stock mechanical disk ones, as those were pretty bad. They were fairly easy to install if your experienced with bikes, and they for sure wheeile. I would however recommend the Shimano MT200 brakes instead of these, as they're cheaper and provide better stopping power than these, overall though these breaks are generally fine.

My kid likes how it feels lighter and doesn't require as much force to use the brakes. It actually has more braking power as compared to the old mechanical brake set, which was expected. I mostly purchased it because hydraulic brakes are more superior to mechanical brakes, easier to use and more stopping power. The question now is, how to bleed brakes and what type of brake fluid.
My son loves the hydraulic breaks! They work much better than the stock ones.
